Professional Conversion Program (PCP)
The Professional Conversion Programme (PCP) aims to enhance job opportunities for Professionals, Managers, Executives and Technicians (PMETs) by helping them acquire new skills to start new careers in growth sectors.
The Programme adopts either company-sponsored In-employment upgrading / Place-and-Train (PnT) or self-sponsored Train-and-Place (TnP) mode of delivery for new entrants into the aerospace industry in Singapore.
The Programme aims to:
- Place-and-Train / Train-and-Place new workers and
- Upgrade existing workers in aerospace industry
Under the PCP, job seekers who are successful in interviews with the participating companies will be sponsored to undergo the two-year full-time training in the FdEng programme at Air Transport Training College (ATTC). Trainees will be equipped with technical knowledge and relevant skills required in the aviation industry.
Do I qualify?
- Applicants must be Singaporean Citizens or Permanent Residents of Singapore.
- Applicants seeking admission to the In-employment Upgrading Programme & Professional Conversion Programme should possess: Recognized Prior Learning (RPL) and relevant working experience within the aerospace industry or coming from another industry with technical work experience and seeking entry into the aerospace industry.
- Attainment of at least 85% attendance, and completion of the course requirements.
- Aerospace companies must be registered or incorporated in Singapore.
- Training must be co-sponsored by companies (except for Professional Conversion Programme)
