Specialist Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering (SAME)
The Specialist Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering (SAME) is a diploma programme offered by the Singapore Institute of Aerospace Engineers (SIAE) and conducted by Air Transport Training College (ATTC).

Course Objectives
The SAME programme aims to integrate basic aviation skills required for the aerospace industry. This is an approved course by the Civil Aviation of Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and the Civil Aviation Department (CAD) of the Republic of Maldives.
Exam credits earned through this programme is directly recognised by the CAD of the Republic of Maldives for consideration of MCAR Part 66 Cat A License.
This diploma course is embadded with 7 modules of WSQ Higher Certificate in Aerospace Maintenance with specialisation in Aircraft Maintenance (Mechanical). SAME graduands will concurrently attain the WSQ Higher Certificate in Aerospace Maintenance (Aircraft Maintenance)

Admission Requirements
- Minimum GCE O Level with credits in English and Maths/Physics OR
- NITEC in a relevant discipline OR
- Other equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions can be considered on a case by case basis
- Pass in English proficiency Examination (For foreign students from non-English medium school or institution)

Fees
- A non-refundable registration fees of SGD 171.20 is payable upon submission.
- A processing fee of SGD 321 is payable by foreign students upon acceptance by ATTC.
- Full-time : SGD19,795
- After Funding from WDA (Under PCP Programme)
SGD 1,979.50
- WDA funding is only valid for Singapore residents and PR
(minimum 85% attendance to sit for all exam and satisfy funding requirement)
- CAAS Part 66 Exam (Optional) SGD 17 per paper
All fees QUOTED ABOVE INCLUDE 7% GST
SDF Funding
Singapore residents or PR (Permanent residents) taking the Full-time SAME course can apply for up to 90% subsidy on course fees thru the PCP Program under SPUR.

- Trainee must be Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Generally, trainee should be below the level of Diploma education
- Trainee must achieve at least 75% attendance and sit for all examinations if the
course leads to certification

SRP Subsidy:
The course is eligible for WDA's SRP subsidy (applicable to company sponsored students only).
