WSQ Aerospace: Basic Aviation Skills (Gas Turbine)

The WSQ Aerospace: Basic Aviation Skills (Gas Turbine) (AR-ERO-201G-1 - Perform General Engine Workshop Practices) Course is designed to train participants in three aspects: the ability to comply with technical manual; use and operate workshop tools and equipment; and identify and use appropriate engine standards and materials.

ATTC is an approved training organisation by WDA for WSQ courses.

ATTC is a training centre approved by CAAS to conduct engineering courses for aircraft maintenance personnel in accordance with Certificate of Approval Number MTO/002.

Who Should Attend

Those who want a career switch to the aviation industry and newly recruited personnel, who wish to seek recognition as trained Technicians in the Gas Turbine workshop..

 

Course Structure

The course consists of about 48hours of training including assessment. The duration of the course is spread over 6 days, from 0830 to 1730 hours each day.

 

Minimum Entry Requirement

Ability to communicate in spoken and written English is required.

 

Course Fees

The course fees is SGD 2675.00 per participant.
After WDA funding: SGD 267.50 per participant

All fees QUOTED ABOVE INCLUDE 7% GST

SDF Subsidy

WDA Homepage

Singapore residents or PR (Permanent residents) taking the Full-time WSQ BAS course can apply for up to 90% subsidy on course fees.

  1. Trainee must be Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
  2. Generally, trainee should be below the level of Diploma education
  3. Trainee must achieve at least 75% attendance and sit for all examinations if the
    course leads to certification

Eventual funding amount can vary according to applicant's age and qualification level. For details on SDF funding, please refer to the WDA web site or SDF web site.

 

SRP Subsidy:

The course is eligible for WDA's SRP subsidy (applicable to company sponsored students only).

  1. Trainee should be Singaporean/PR
  2. Generally, trainee should be below the level of Diploma education.
